HF Manpack Packages

Codan manpack transceivers are a reliable, rugged and a secure solution for portable long distance HF voice and data communications. Systems available are the Sentry-H 6110-MP, 2110 and 2110M, all of which are extremely light and deliver low power consumption. Comfortable to carry and packed with easy to use features, Codan manpacks are ideal for all types of terrain and operational conditions, complying and exceeding with the toughest environmental standards including MILSTD 810G.

The Sentry-H 6110-MP delivers a rugged and waterproof MILSTD 810G design man-portable Software-Defined Radio (SDR) solution for military organisations that demand uncompromised, secure voice and data communications while on the move. The 6110-MP forms an integral part of the Sentry-H product family that meets the demands of the modern battlefield whilst offering full backwards compatibility with legacy products. The 6110-MP is one of the smallest, lightest form factor manpack HF radios available, delivering a powerful 30 W RF power and up to 55 hours of battery life in less than 5 kg of weight without compromise on any capabilities. Other key features include a smart handset with colour display and integrated GPS, dual handset control, multi-language user interface, dedicated sound and light controls for tactical awareness, built in front panel speaker, IP connectivity over Ethernet/wi-fi and USB, and digital voice message call.

The Patrol 2110 manpack is rugged and light, offers extended capability and flexibility to users for their tactical requirements, and delivers the lowest power consumption of any available manpack radio, meaning you can operate continuously on a single charge for up to 65 hours. With second-generation Digital Voice and rugged smart handset, you have the confidence to communicate anywhere and anytime without the need for existing infrastructure. The Patrol 2110 fully complies with MILSTD 810F standards, and the Patrol smart handset enables remote operation of the Manpack, with all the capability of the front panel now available in the palm of your hand. Other key features include custom designed handset accessories for flexible configurations, secure voice and data communications (AES-256), advanced ALE calling standards including 3G ALE (STANAG 4538), interoperability with other military transceivers, a smart and fully automatic antenna tuner, and GPS location and tracking.

The Patrol 2110M is rugged and light, offers extended capability and flexibility to users for their tactical requirements, and with compliance to MILSTD 188-141B ALE, FED-STD-1045 ALE, Digital Voice, interoperability with commercial and other military grade radios, frequency hopping, and voice encryption, it is a true manpack radio. The Patrol 2110M eliminates the need to carry heavy spare batteries, operating continuously for up to 65 hours using Codan's intelligent battery system, and the Patrol smart handset enables remote operation of the manpack, with all the capability of the front panel now available in the palm of your hand. Other key features include custom designed handset accessories for flexible configurations, a smart and fully automatic antenna tuner, and GPS location and tracking.
