Unlike consumer products that have an exterior shell to make them appear rugged, Trimble tablets are built rugged from the inside out, with IP65 protection from dust and water, and with military grade MIL-STD-810G certification for temperature, altitude, humidity extremes, vibration and shock. Trimble offer two tablets, the 7 inch T7 and the 10.1 inch T10, both designed to perform a variety of tasks when combined with Trimble Siteworks software and a Trimble SPS GNSS receiver or total station, such as measuring and verifying original ground levels and site features, assessing as-built measurements, generating high quality reports, and synchronising design and field data via the internet.
